As always, the Elbe tunnel is jammed full of cars during rush hour. A shot suddenly echoes through the tunnel, and a man collapses over his steering wheel. There is no sign of the perpetrator. The victim, Oliver Wiebusch, led a seemingly boring life in a dreary community of townhouses just outside Hamburg, where the only dash of color comes from the deep red, inedible crab apples on the trees planted in the front yards. What was the motive? Could it be a case of mistaken identity?
